IMPORTANT CHANGES TO 2019 BOOKING REQUESTS
Manor Fisheries is now accepting 2019 bookings and membership applications from visitors with differing requirements:
“Accommodation with discounted fishing” for 3, 4 or 7 days or longer. All 2019 Apartment Availability can be seen via: https://www.manor-fisheries.co.uk/availability/
Angling Clubs are invited to Book for 2019 via: https://www.manor-fisheries.co.uk/reservations/
For our 2019 season, Manor Fisheries has changed to a limited Membership only Fishery. With only 4-weeks to go before we begin accepting fishing only bookings, now is the time to apply for your 2019 Manor Fisheries Membership online at https://www.manor-fisheries.co.uk/night-fishing/.
The limited Membership does not apply to Lake 3 (Mixed) Concessionary anglers, those under 18 years in age (who must be accompanied by a 2019 Member), Angling Clubs or those booked with an Apartment.
A booking for fishing during the Manor Fisheries 2019 Season will only be accepted from:
1. A 2019 Member with a valid membership number in advance of their Booking Request. In addition to the published charges for fishing, the annual 2019 Membership fee is £20.00 which provides the option to book fishing for day and/or night fishing throughout the Manor Fisheries 2019 Season.
2. An angler with an Apartment booking which includes temporary Membership during their stay
3. A certified Angling Club which is provided temporary Membership during their Match day

Activity Plan – the next 16-weeks
Manor Fisheries is closed for the winter and before we open on Saturday 23rd March next year there are on-going activities to be completed including:
Management of the lakes through netting and electro stunning.
Repair and improvement of swims
Lake 2 (Carp/Catfish) swims have been repaired and upgraded as appropriate (see Swim comment below)
A new and improved daily winter fish feeding programme using an initial 1,000 Kg of high quality feed
General grounds and islands maintenance
Apartments, cabin and security maintenance
New Swims
As the new swims contain concrete the use of a rod pod is ideal. Although the use of bank sticks is still fine, when fishing near to the waters edge please avoid damage through banging into the concrete which will also scare the fish away from your swim. Alternatively you can locate your rods (and bank sticks) further back from the water’s edge to completely avoid the concrete.

2018 Results of the 1,000 lbs CLUB
Many of our regulars will recognise that there are times during the summer when the Cats become ravenous resulting in large total session weights of Cats being recorded.
Congratulations to all the 1,000 lbs Club anglers shown below who set the bar high through landing over 1,000 lbs in a single session. It is likely that each angler will concur that they were really happy but somewhat tired at the end of their visit!
Special mention is made of Steve Hyder who becomes only the third angler who has previously landed over 1,000 lbs in a single session:
2018 Results for our “Pin” Awards
Each year we award every angler with a PIN to commemorate catching their first Manor Fisheries specimen fish for each species shown below.
We are delighted to announce the 2018 “Pin” award winners as follows:
Special mention is made of Paul Evans who wins his second species PIN having previously caught a Tench weighing 6lbs 12ozs on the 20th June 2015.
Manor Fisheries Specimens
Each year we award every angler with a PIN to commemorate catching their first Manor Fisheries specimen fish for each species shown below. The 2019 PIN qualifying weights are:
2019 Leader Board
The Leader Board competition will again run throughout our 2019 Season and commence on Saturday 23rd March 2019. Prizes will be awarded for the following specimens caught by or on Sunday 29th September 2019:
£50.00 for the first verified 50lbs+ Catfish
£50.00 for the first verified 30lbs+ Carp
£50.00 for the first verified 8lbs+ Tench
In the event these “Target weights” are not met, the above prizes will be awarded for the heaviest verified Carp, Catfish and Tench specimens recorded in the Cabin Log Book by or on Sunday 29th September 2019.
In addition to recording Cats weighing over 30lbs, and please don’t be shy ……. we request anglers also record Carp over 20lbs as this forms the basis of our Monthly News Report and provides valuable input to our lake management plans.
