Fishing Report – 1st June 2022 to 30th June 2022
Lake 1 (Carp) Logbook Catch Reports
Regulars Terry Keard and Roy Simpson arrived on the 31st May for a 48-hour session when they experienced unsettled weather and Carp recovering from spawning the previous weekend. Using krill boilie baits Terry landed Commons weighing 16lbs 1oz, 11lbs 9ozs and 8lbs 6ozs while Roy caught a 8lbs 10ozs Common plus a 1lb 8ozs Cat which was safely placed into Lake 2 (Carp/Catfish).

It was the first visit of Les Harvey and Scott Taylor on the 2nd June who successfully targeted the Carp during their 36-hour session, including weights of:
Les – A 19lbs 8ozs Mirror and Commons of 18lbs 8ozs and 15lbs using cut down yellow pop-up wafter baits
Scott – A 21lbs 9ozs Common using squid and a 14mm yellow pop-up bait.
Visiting on the 7th June Danny Smith landed a 15lbs 8ozs Common using a squid pop-up bait.
Phillip Aldridge and Daniel Davis arrived on 13th June for a 36-hour session and landed 6 x Carp including weights of:
Phil – a 19lbs Mirror and 2 x 11lbs Commons
Dan – all Commons of 16lbs, 11lbs and 10lbs

Returning on the 15th June regular Bryan Butler used pacific tuna boilie baits which resulted in catching a 13lbs Common.
When arriving on the 16th June for an over-nighter, regular Danny Smith landed a 17lbs 2ozs Common using krill boilie baits.
Regular Terry Keard arrived on the 15th June for a 24-hour session and using krill boilie and Robin Red baits finished with 10 x Carp including weights of:
Commons – 19lbs 11ozs, 16lbs 2ozs, 15lbs 3ozs, 13lbs 10ozs, 12lbs 9ozs and 11lbs 2ozs
Mirrors – 19lbs 3ozs, 13lbs 7ozs, 12lbs 8ozs and 11lbs 4ozs

When returning on the 17th June regular Adrian Burton had a good day session landing 7 x Commons weighing 3 x 16lbs, 14lbs, 13lbs 4ozs, 11lbs 8ozs and 10lbs 4ozs.
David and Jason Hodge visited on the 19th June and both landed Commons and Mirrors including weights of:

22nd June – 15lbs 8ozs, 13lbs 12ozs and 12lbs 12ozs Commons using Tiger-nut boilie bait
23rd June – Rob, Roy’s son, used squid boilie baits and landed 6 x Commons weighing 15lbs 5ozs, 15lbs 2ozs, 14lbs 4ozs, 13lbs, 11lbs and 10lbs
24th June – 15lbs 8ozs Common using Tiger-nut boilie bait
Regular Paul Teakle returned on the 21st June and landed a 14lbs 8ozs Mirror and a 12lbs Common and on the 28th June a 13lbs 8ozs Common using pop-ups.
On the 22nd June Roger Austen returned and using Cell bait caught Commons weighing 13lbs and 11lbs 8ozs.
Phillip Aldridge arrived on the 23rd June for a 24-hour session and whilst enjoying the Battle of Britain Air Show plus visiting ducklings, landed Carp including weights of:
23rd – Mirrors of 15lbs and 10lbs plus a 16lbs Common using Tutti Frutti Boilie and yellow pop-ups
24th – Phillip’s father Alan, landed a 17lbs Mirror and a 12lbs Common where luncheon meat and Strawberry Squid boilie were the successful baits

Paul Duncan returned on the 24th June for a great 48-hour session which included viewing the stunning Headcorn - Battle of Britain Air Show while landing 3 x 20’s where krill wafter was the successful bait:
24th June - Commons weighing 21lbs 6ozs and 16lbs plus a 8lbs 12ozs Mirror
25th June – 11 x Commons weighing, 18lbs, 16lbs 14ozs, 14lbs 2ozs, 13lbs 15ozs, 12lbs 10ozs, 12lbs 2ozs, 12lbs 1oz, 11lbs, 9lbs 7ozs, 9lbs 6ozs and 9lbs 3ozs plus Mirrors of 22lbs 11ozs and 20lbs 6ozs
26th June – 5 x Commons weighing 17lbs 10ozs, 12lbs 14ozs, 12lbs 5ozs, 11lbs 12ozs and 10lbs 4ozs plus a 17lbs 14ozs Mirror.
Terry Simmonds-Snr and son Terry, both had success on the 25th June landing Carp:
Terry Snr – Commons weighing 14lbs 7ozs and 6lbs 2ozs using pineapple boilies
Terry Jnr – Commons weighing 12lbs 2ozs and 9lbs 9ozs using pineapple and candy nut boilie baits
Both Gary Cherry and Aaron Harbird visited on the 26th June and using manilla boilie baits landed 3 x Commons to 15lbs.
Using black crab and creamy nut boilies on the 28th June resulted in regular Chris Mundy landing 6 x Commons including weights of 16lbs, 3 x15lbs and 2 x 10lbs.
On the 29th June regular Terry Hare used pacific tuna boilie baits and landed a 12lbs 2ozs Common.
Lake 2 (Carp/Catfish) Logbook Catch Reports
Arriving for a short break on the 31st May, regular Bryan Butler began fishing for Cats using halibut pellet baits on the 1st June and was soon rewarded with a Cat weighing 34lbs 8ozs. Son Michael also landed 3 x Cats to 20lbs plus Carp of 2 x 6lbs.
Paul Duncan arrived on the 2nd June for a 36-hour session and targeted both the Carp and Cats using krill wafter baits to land 6 x Commons weighing 19lbs 2ozs, 8lbs 8ozs, 8lbs 4ozs, 6lbs, 5lbs 14ozs and 4lbs 12ozs plus 3 x Cats of 14lbs 2ozs, 7lbs 8ozs and 7lbs.
John Bairam returned for a day session on the 9th June and finished with 4 x Cats weighing 31lbs 2ozs, 27lbs 10ozs, 18lbs 9ozs and 14lbs 4ozs.
When visiting on the 14th June, Tyler Edwards caught 2 x Cats to 10lbs.
Regular John Bairam returned for a day session on the 16th June and finished with 3 x Cats weighing 33lbs 7ozs, 26lbs 14ozs and 18lbs 12ozs.
Lee and Robert Holman arrived on the 17th June for a 24-hour session and landed a 15lbs 1ozs Cat.
Arriving on the 17th June for 48-hours, Paul Duncan used krill wafter baits to catch:
Cats – 14lbs and three kittens
Commons – 12lbs 8ozs, 11lbs 10ozs, 9lbs 7ozs, 8lbs 4ozs,6lbs 8ozs, 6lbs 4ozs and 5lbs 7ozs
Regulars Eric Scott and Peter Parsons visited on the 21st June when Eric landed a 18lbs Cat and Peter caught a 20lbs Cat plus a 10lbs Carp
Arriving on the 25th June for a 60-hour session resulted in 10 x Cats for Gary Vaughan and Gary Constable including weights of:
Gary Vaughan – 33lbs 15ozs, 26lbs 4ozs, 23lbs 6ozs, 16lbs 9ozs, 16lbs and 3 x kittens plus 1 x Carp
Gary Constable – 12lbs and a kitten plus 1 x Carp and numerous Rudd
Lake 3 (Mixed) Logbook Catch Reports
Regular Matthew Smith returned on the 1st June and using his waggler setup with casters for bait, landed Tench weighing 3lbs 6ozs and 2lbs 11ozs, a 8lbs 2ozs Mirror, Commons weighing 7lbs 4ozs and 6lbs 1ozs plus 50+ silvers.
Returning on the 5th June Matthew ledgered with 10mm boilie baits and caught 5 x Commons weighing 9lbs 8ozs, 8lbs 1oz, 6lbs 7ozs, 5lbs 8ozs and 5lbs; a 3lbs 3ozs Tench and 2 x good Bream weighing 6lbs 6ozs and 5lbs 2ozs.
Matthew had a new PB on the 8th June when his catch included 2 x Bream weighing 5lbs 13ozs and 4lbs 11ozs plus 5 x Commons weighing 12lbs 5ozs PB, 10lbs 8ozs, 9lbs 6ozs, 8lbs 9ozs ans 7lbs 11ozs.
Another good catch for Matthew on the 13th June including 12 x Carp weighing 10lbs 1oz, 9lbs, 8lbs 12ozs, 8lbs 3ozs, 7lbs 11ozs, 7lbs 2ozs, 6lbs 14ozs, 6lbs 8ozs, 6lbs 2ozs, 5lbs 7ozs, 5lbs and 4lbs 6ozs plus 6 x Tench with weights of 4lbs 14ozs, 4lbs 3ozs, 3lbs 12ozs, 3lbs 7ozs, 3lbs and 2lbs 4ozs together with a 4lbs 14ozs Bream and a couple of small Rudd
On the 15th June Matthew used a running ledger and 10mm boilie bait which resulted in catching 11 x Commons to 8lbs, 6 x Mirrors to 9lbs 2ozs and Tench weighing 3lbs 14ozs and 3lbs 2ozs plus 4 x small Rudd.
On the 26th June Matthew ledgered 10mm boilies and had a good mixed catch including weights of:
Tench – 4lbs 10z
Mirror – 6lbs 2ozs
Commons – 3 x to 8lbs 13ozs
Bream – 2 x to 6lbs 3ozs
Rudd x 2
Visiting on the 1st June produced a 3lbs Common for Ian Brown while Mick Jenkins landed 3 x Carp ranging from 3lbs to 8lbs.
During a short break Mark Pearson landed a 5lbs Common on the 1st June where tandoori flavoured luncheon meat was the successful bait and next day added 2 x Tench weighing 4lbs and 3lbs 2ozs plus a 6lbs 1oz Common to his catch. Fishing with Mark on the 3rd June, Carl Nevill fishing for the first time, landed a Common weighing 6lbs plus a 3lbs Tench where pineapple flavoured luncheon meat was the successful bait.
Thomas Beever arrived on the 3rd June for a 36-hour session and together with son Jacob used pineapple crush pop-ups and sweetcorn baits to land 7 x Commons weighing 10lbs, 9lbs, 8lbs, 7lbs 8ozs, and 3 x 5lbs plus 6lbs 8ozs and 6lbs Mirrors and a 2lbs Bream
Graham Payne returned on the 4th June and using Wafter baits landed 7 x Commons weighing 10lbs, 8lbs, 7lbs, 6lbs, 5lbs, 4lbs and 8ozs plus 6lbs and 4lbs Mirrors and a 4lbs Bream.
Visiting on the 4th June, Nick Burden used sweetcorn and luncheon meat baits and landed 7 x Carp to 7lbs plus 2lbs 8ozs Tench.
Terry and James Crank returned on the 9th June and using method feeders landed 17 x Carp to 9lbs 5ozs plus a 5ozs Roach.
Christopher Callaghan visited on the 9th June and landed 2 x Carp to 6lbs. Christopher visited again on the 13th June and using his feeder rod with bloodworm pellet bait landed 14 x Carp and a 4lbs Bream.
Aaron Perks used a method feeder during his visit on the 11th June and landed 2 x Carp to 7lbs 8ozs.
During his visit on the 12th June Gary Zwerk began float fishing with maggot bait and caught “scores” of tiddlers before changing baits to land 5 x Carp to 8lbs 2ozs and 2 x Tench to 2lbs 8ozs.
On the 16th June Christopher Callaghan again visited and landed 7 x Carp, 3 x Tench and 4 x Bream.
Arriving for a short break, Alan Granger used luncheon meat bait on the 19th June and landed Commons weighing 9lbs, 7lbs 8ozs and 5lbs 8ozs plus a 7lbs 8ozs Mirror and several Rudd and Perch. Fishing Lake 2 (Carp/Catfish) on the 22nd June Alan caught a 6lbs 8ozs Cat using halibut pellet bait. Returning to Lake 3 on the 24th June Alan landed 5 x Commons including weights of 7lbs 8ozs, 5lbs and 4lbs 8ozs plus Tench weighing 3lbs 8ozs and 3lbs.
Returning on the 22nd June Ray Hanson caught a 3lbs Common.
Carl Nevill and Mark Pearson returned on the 25th June and using sausage bait, Carl caught a 11lbs 12ozs Carp while Mark landed 2 x Carp weighing 11lbs 8ozs and 7lbs 12ozs using luncheon meat baits.
Regular Steve Hyder returned on the 29th June and had a mixed bag including weights of: 5 x Carp to 9lbs, a 2lbs 8ozs Tench and 2 x Bream of 3lbs 5ozs each plus many Roach and Rudd.
Terry Crank returned on the 29th June and using sweetcorn bait landed 4 x Carp including Mirrors of 9lbs 3ozs and 8lbs 13ozs, 3 x Bream to 5lbs 1oz and 3 x Tench to 4lbs 5ozs plus numerous Silvers – Roach and Rudd.

For the 2022 season Manor Fisheries is a 100% Members only Fishery for all anglers aged 18 years old or more and Membership numbers will be limited. Applications for 2022 Membership are allocated on a “First come, first served” basis and are now being accepted – see www.manor-fisheries.co.uk/night-fishing.
